As a company operating in the field of communications, D2C X Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “D2C X” or the “Company”) fully recognizes the need and importance of protecting the personal information and browsing history data of all customers, business partners, and other related parties, and is committed to the appropriate handling of said information. In addition to mandating that all its employees understand and comply with this privacy policy, the Company has set up an internal management system to handle all personal information.

2. Security Control Measures for Personal Information

  1. The Company has designated people responsible for personal information protection as well as established a management system to ensure the proper handling of such information.
  2. When acquiring personal information, the Company will specify the purpose of use in advance and limit its use and provision to the scope necessary to achieve that purpose. The Company will also take the appropriate steps to ensure that the personal information will not be used outside of the intended purpose.

5. Purpose of Use of Personal Information

D2C X uses your personal information for the purposes detailed below. The Company will not acquire or use personal information beyond what is specified below.

  2. Responding to user opinions and consultation requests
  3. Hosting, operating, and implementing events and seminars

2. Personal Information of Shareholders

  1. Creating shareholder registers and managing shareholders in accordance with regulations such as the Companies Act

3. Personal Information of Executives, Employees, and Temporary Staff

  2. Reporting to relevant authorities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

The Company may also receive the following information (collectively referred to as “Related Personal Information”) from individuals or third parties that does not, by itself, constitute personal information: attribute data like gender, age, occupation, and area of residence; cookies; IP addresses; advertising identifiers (AAID/IDFA); and log information related to internet usage, such as location data and browsing history. When an individual provides their personal information to the Company, it may link such information to the individual’s related personal information. In such cases, the related personal information will also be treated as personal information.

6. Voluntary Nature of Personal Information Provision

The provision of personal information is voluntary. However, if the necessary personal information is not provided, the Company may be unable to provide its services, carry out certain business operations, handle recruitment and management of staff, or respond to certain inquiries.

7. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Company may disclose acquired personal information to D2C Inc. via physical or electronic means within the scope specified in 5.Purpose of Use of Personal Information. If you do not wish for your personal information to be disclosed, please follow the procedure laid out in 8.Procedures for Requests for Disclosure etc. and your personal information will not be shared.

To file a complaint, request a consultation, or do any of the following in regards to the personal data held by the Company (all of which are collectively referred to as “Requests for Disclosure, etc.”): (1) Request for notification of intended use; (2) Request for disclosure; (3) Request for correction; (4) Request for addition; (5) Request for deletion; (6) Request for cessation of use; (7) Request for cessation of disclosure to third parties; (8) Request the disclosure of third-party data provision records; please see the Contact Information section at the end of this page. The Company will respond to such requests and complaints in an appropriate and timely manner.

9. Use of Cookies and Third Party Data Sharing
